Motorsport, yeah, put that thing in sport (skrrt, skrrt)
Shawty bad (bad), pop her like a cork (pop it)
*Dancing and rapping, yassssss!!!*
Our favorite bad gal is serving some serious biker vibes in her new Fenty x Puma campaign. The collaboration with the star and the design company began in 2014 and the sales return for the brand has been tremendous. Rihanna has multiple brands under her belt including Fenty Beauty, her makeup line that’s sold exclusively by Sephora.
Rihanna is a badass and she’s proud! Not one to shy away from her menacing antics (like smoking weed on beaches and cussing out the paparazzi), Rihanna’s ‘good girl gone bad’ persona is depicted well in her new campaign.
Rih Rih is captured alongside models Selena Forrest, Slick Woods, and Yasmin Wijnaldum in a desert scenery on dirtbikes. The sporty clothing featured in the campaign are also amazing! The campaign’s focus seems to be on bodysuits, joggers, biker shorts, hoodies, color blocking, and fierce sportswear – even fanny packs and motor jackets!
The edginess of the looks definitely gets our approval. They really live up to our expectation of anything created by Rihanna. The visuals are proof of her Black Girl Magic and what can happen when you break the mold in typical fashion.
Fellow Hollywood diva Beyonce also dabbles in edgy sportswear, the superstar’s Ivy Park clothing line was launched in 2016 with partner TopShop. The focus of her line is fitness wear.
Although Rihanna’s focus seems to be more geared towards high fashion, the sporty look still plays into the athleisure trend that doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Whether you’re hitting the town or a Motocross event, Rihanna’s line puts the ‘B’ in Bad!
If you can’t wait to rock some of the pieces from this daring line, the new collection by Fenty x Puma will be launched for shoppers on March 15.
